This week's training schedule...

Training this week consist of a 5.5 miler, a treadmill 10K, another treadmill 5 miler...and hopefully tomorrow a 10 miler.

The Brooksie Way 1/2 marathon is only 1 week away.

Detroit marathon is 1 month away!

A GREAT day for an 18.5 miler.....

Not sure how it happened, but I posted an AWSOME time! I couldn't be happier, 18.5 miles in 3:10....That's a 10:27 minute mile.....GREAT time for me!

Could it have been the Little Ceasers pizza for dinner the night before?
Could it have been the piece of chocolate cake I had for dessert?
Could it have been the cortisone shot in my foot?
Could it have been the 50* temp with 0 humidity?

I am ready for Brooksie 1/2 marathon in 2 weeks and Detroit Marathon in 4 weeks!

No Toe pain.

Ran 7.5 miles today. No toe pain!

Shot of Cortisone.....

Foot doctor DID give me a cortisone shot in my left foot for a Morton's neuroma....I was right!

Believe it or not....I DID NOT HURT! Let's see how long it take for my longer runs to be pain free!

Pinched nerve in foot....

Going to the foot doctor tomorrow....to confirm my self-diagnosis of a right Morton's neuroma!

This has been going on about 1 1/2 years!

Perhaps a cortisone shot will help??!!
