Shot of Cortisone.....

Foot doctor DID give me a cortisone shot in my left foot for a Morton's neuroma....I was right!

Believe it or not....I DID NOT HURT! Let's see how long it take for my longer runs to be pain free!

Pinched nerve in foot....

Going to the foot doctor tomorrow....to confirm my self-diagnosis of a right Morton's neuroma!

This has been going on about 1 1/2 years!

Perhaps a cortisone shot will help??!!

Today's Race Update!

Today's 4 mile race...It was ONLY 4 miles, but with the heat and humidity...felt longer.

I ran a 43:20, which is around a 10:48-ish/mile. I guess with the girls at least 10#'s heavier then last year, I will use that excuse for my slow down! (Pushing the double jogger = about 100#'s)

Feedback from my book!

While at my race today, a lady walked up to me and asked me if I was the author of "On My Run with Mommy Today...". I told her, "Yes!"

She bought one of my books at Christmas time for her 2 sons. She want to let me know how much they LOVED the book!

That TOTALLY made my day!
